About the Artist

Cardinahl is the oldest of two children born in Hamburg Germany. After attending Art school she starred as a young ingenue in two of Germany’s most successful movies. Jessika moved to New York City in 1985 and studied acting at the neighborhood playhouse and furthered her painting & sculpting techniques at Parsons School of Design .
Jessika chose a career as a commercial actress and lifestyle model while raising her 3 young children one of whom with special needs. After she left the world of acting, she went back to being a painter.
She’s been a professional artist since 2002. She’s had copious exhibits with showings at the Wilding museum in Solvang . Her favorite mediums are; oil sticks, ink, pastels, charcoal and acrylic. She is inspired by the magnificence of animals and our natural world. She’s has been featured as a muralist for the San Yisidro Ranch hotel and spa .
Her work is found at Wagonwheel School in Los Angeles and Malibu, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, BALKE Company Hamburg, and Residential homes.
Her idea of fun is creating paintings that lift the soul, inspired by our beautiful natural surroundings.
